Socotrine Aloes
(ALOE)
An excellent remedy to aid in re-establishing physiological equilibrium after much dosing, where disease and drug symptoms are mixed. Rich in symptoms of portal congestion. Bad effects from sedentary life. Especially suited to lymphatic, hypochondriacal patients, aged and old beer-drinkers. Rectal symptoms predominate. Heat internally and externally.
Head.--Headache alternates with lumbago and intestinal or uterine troubles. Disinclination for mental labor. Forehead ache with heaviness of eyes. Headache after stool. Worse heat.
Eyes.--Must partly close eyes during forehead pain. Flickering. Red eyes with yellow vision. Deep orbital pain.
Face.--Marked redness of lips.
Ears.--Cracking when chewing. Explosive sounds and tinkling in ear.
Nose.--Cold tip. Morning nosebleed. Crusts.
Mouth.--Bitter and sour taste. Tasteless eructations. Lips cracked and dry.
Throat.--Tough mucus lumps. Varicose veins in pharynx. Dry scraping feeling.
Stomach.--Aversion to meat. Desire for juicy foods. Flatulence and rectal pulsation after eating. Nausea with headache.
Abdomen.--Pain around navel worse pressure. Liver fullness and right rib pain. Bloated hot abdomen. Great flatus with downward pressure. Plug sensation between pubis and coccyx. Colic before stool.
Rectum.--Bearing down, soreness and heat relieved by cold water. Weak sphincter. Insecurity with flatus. Stool passes unnoticed. Jelly-like and mucous stools. Haemorrhoids like grapes, better cold water. Burning anus and rectum. Beer diarrhoea.
Urinary.--Incontinence in aged. Enlarged prostate with bearing down. Scanty high-colored urine.
Female.--Bearing down worse standing and menses. Heavy uterus. Labor-like pains to legs. Climacteric haemorrhage. Early profuse menses.
Respiratory.--Winter cough with itching. Difficult respiration with liver-to-chest stitches.
Back.--Pain in small of back worse motion. Sacral stitches. Lumbago alternating with headache and piles.
Extremities.--Lameness. Drawing joint pains. Painful soles.
Modalities.--Worse early morning, summer, heat, hot dry weather, after eating or drinking. Better cold and open air.
