Red Onion
A picture of coryza, with acrid nasal discharge and laryngeal symptoms, eye secretion bland; singers' cold, worse in warm room and toward evening; better in open air is presented by this remedy. Adapted to phlegmatic patients; colds in damp cold weather. Neuralgic pains after amputations or nerve injuries. Burning in nose, mouth, throat, bladder and skin.
Head.--Catarrhal headache in forehead; worse warm room and evening. Thread-like facial pains. Headache ceases during menses.
Eyes.--Red, burning and smarting with bland lachrymation. Sensitive to light. Watery eyes, better in open air.
Ears.--Earache with shooting pains in eustachian tube.
Nose.--Sneezing entering warm room. Copious watery acrid discharge. Lump sensation at root of nose. Hay fever. Fluent coryza with cough and hoarseness. Nasal polypus.
Stomach.--Canine hunger. Pyloric pain. Thirst, belching and nausea.
Abdomen.--Rumbling offensive flatus. Left hypogastric pain. Colic.
Rectum.--Diarrhoea with offensive flatus. Stitches, itching and rhagades in anus. Glowing heat in rectum.
Urinary.--Weak bladder and urethra. Increased urine with coryza. Red urine with burning and pressure.
Respiratory.--Hoarseness. Hacking cough on inspiring cold air. Tickling and tearing sensation in larynx. Oppressed breathing. Constriction of epiglottis. Pain extending to ear.
Extremities.--Lame joints. Heel ulcers. Neuralgia of stump. Limbs sore and tired.
Sleep.--Yawning with headache and drowsiness. Dreams. Wakes at 2 am.
