AETHUSA CYNAPIUM
Fool's Parsley
The characteristic symptoms relate mainly to the brain and nervous system, connected with gastro-intestinal disturbance. Especially useful in children during dentition and summer complaint with inability to digest milk.
Mind.--Restless, anxious, crying. Sees rats, cats, dogs. Unconscious, delirious. Inability to think or fix attention. Brain fag. Idiocy may alternate with irritability.
Head.--Feels bound up or in a vise. Occipital pain extending down spine; better lying and pressure. Hair feels pulled. Vertigo with drowsiness and palpitation.
Eyes.--Photophobia. Swelling of Meibomian glands. Rolling eyes on falling asleep. Eyes drawn downward; pupils dilated.
Ears.--Obstructed feeling. Hot sensation from ears. Hissing sound.
Nose.--Stopped with thick mucus. Herpetic eruption on tip. Ineffectual desire to sneeze.
Face.--Puffed, red-spotted, collapsed. Anxious painful expression.
Mouth.--Dry. Aphthae. Tongue seems too long. Burning and pustules in throat.
Stomach.--Intolerance of milk; vomiting immediately or in curds. Hungry after vomiting. Regurgitation after eating. Frothy vomiting. Nausea at sight of food. Stomach feels turned upside down.
Abdomen.--Cold and aching abdomen. Colic followed by vomiting, vertigo and weakness. Inflated and sensitive.
Stool.--Undigested green stool with colic and exhaustion. Cholera infantum. Obstinate constipation.
Urinary.--Cutting bladder pain with urging. Kidney pain.
Female.--Lancinating pains. Watery menses. Mammary swelling.
Respiratory.--Difficult anxious breathing with constriction. Patient speechless.
Heart.--Violent palpitation with vertigo and restlessness.
Back and Extremities.--Back feels in a vise. Weak lower limbs. Clenched fingers. Numbness and spasms.
